(Free shipping) Thank you for considering a donation to
Carroll Cave Conservancy. The estimated cost of creating access into the
cave from CCC's leased property exceeds the money currently in the
treasury. That's why this is such an exciting time to be involved with
this project. Your generosity can help solve this problem.
Please continue to check carrollcave.org
for updates concerning plans to create access and other developments.
While you're in the website don't forget to jot down the date of the next
CCC meeting and make plans to attend. CCC meetings are the
most useful forum for you to voice your questions, suggestions, ideas and
concerns - especially now when so many key issues are being outlined and
considered.
Fundraising is only one aspect of this
project, but a very important one. If you are
willing to make a financial donation please make your check payable to Carroll
Cave Conservancy and mail to: CCC Treasurer,
Rick Hines
16525 Orchard Lane
Stilwell, KS 66085 You may also wish to check with your
employer's Human Resources Benefits Coordinator and ask if your company
matches employee donations to charitable organizations. For purposes
of explaining CCC to potential corporate donors, "wilderness
conservation" would probably be the most accurate description.
The definition of what types of charities qualify for matching donations
will vary from one company to another - but you won't know if you don't
ask.
If you have ideas for fundraising or would
like to volunteer your time to help coordinate fundraising for CCC,
we would be happy to talk to you at the next CCC meeting. Hope to
see you there!
The Carroll
Cave Conservancy, Inc. has been approved as a 501 (c) (3)
organization.
The new
approval extend back to the date of incorporation (5/8/02) and
therefore provides continuous exempt coverage from our original 501
(c) (3) approval for the Carroll Cave Conservancy 5/25/00.
Need more tax
deductions for this year?
Write that donation check to
the CCC now.
Sincerely,
The Carroll Cave Conservancy Fundraising
Committee
