An all weekend educational hands-on training format at the park with the Sat. board meeting. Direct issues and business to CCC director Ron Lather who will hold the CCC's seat on the MSS board that day. A good opportunity for the Carroll Cave Conservancy to show our colors and help develop interest in our organization. |

He is building a steel rack to shoot from and will have some shells bigger than anything at our MVOR. 12/10/02 - The air locks are complete! See photo. Richard Thompson has done an excellent job of designing, scrounging material and fabrication. He has managed to keep the material cost below the $500 MCKC donation and he has donated all his labor. Thank you Richard! Thank you MCKC!
Now we need to get them installed as soon as possible to protect the cave and stop the air flow up the shaft. Several preliminary steps must be completed first. We need help this Saturday and Sunday (12/14-15) to work in the cave lowering the debris pile and digging a hole for the cable ascender system anchor. On Saturday at Chris Danuser's request we will take Chris, Tom Aley, and Tom Loraine into the cave and will need surface help with the elevator.
