6:00  Dinner at the Schoolhouse (Second Annual Breakthrough Celebration)

Dark:   Fireworks  just west of the Schoolhouse campground

 

Dinner tickets are available for $10 for adults.  A donation is requested for kids.  The fireworks show is free to all but a donation would be appreciated.   Everyone (members and nonmembers) are welcome at the dinner and fireworks show.

 

Again this year the pyrotechnics will be directed by Dave McCool and will feature some large homemade shells.  The fireworks show is funded by donations (see dinner tickets above). 

 

Please attend the members meeting at 2:00 at the Camdenton Fire Station and then come out to the Schoolhouse for dinner and the show.  Bring a friend or two.

  • The CCC Secretary position is open (again).  The Secretary is also a Board member.   If you would like to be considered for the position let the CCC board know.  Just email us at :

  • We also need volunteers for a nominating committee that will be formed in July to prepare a slate of candidates for January elections.  The president’s position is limited to two two-year terms so we will have a new president in January.   If you are interested in serving as an officer, board member or with one of our committee's please contact the board or Pres. Rick Hines - 913-897-4258.

  • 7/24/04 - CCC Board Meeting, Member meeting, 2nd Annual Breakthrough celebration Fireworks.

  • Trip leader Rescue policy additions have been approved by the board 5/19/04 and posted.

  • Required TRIP LEADER Training:  After the member meeting and before dinner on 24 July, we are tentatively planning to have two sessions of safety training back to back.  It might be possible to have three or to have one Sunday morning also.  Group size will be limited.  Part of this will be hands on and will require helmet, leather gloves, normal vertical gear and harness.  We will announce the exact times at the end of the meeting.  No one needs to miss any of the meeting (or even worse miss dinner.) 
     
    Priority will be given to trip leaders if we fill up.
