Carroll Cave Conservancy, Inc.
1 year (minus 2 days) Breakthrough Celebration
July 26, 2003
Rick and everybody at Carroll Cave, thanks for finally letting me blow stuff
up!
 | First I would like to thank Bob McCartney (my cousin) for making over
20 shells with me which included 3-8" shells (the big ones). |
 | Dave Massey for his monetary donation and time making the racks to
shoot the shells. |
 | Marty and Matt from Premier Pyrotechnics for their large product
demonstration. |
 | Kerry Rowland for passing the hat. He collected $263.00 and a bag of
change. |
 | Rick Hines and C.C.C. for the $100.00 donation, and some next day
donations. Now we have $400.00 for the Second Annual Breakthrough Party. |
 | Thanks to all who came back up and helped with the clean-up. Couldn't
have done it without you's. |
I lost the list that John Bowles wrote of what we shot, so I can't give an
exact price, but it was close to $3,000.00 in fireworks.
Quite a few of the fireworks shot, were new to the pyrotechnics scene. They
included "The Z Cake" (also referred to as the Bagdad Gatlin Gun), "The
Poison Spider", "The 8" parachute" and 4 different chains. I was excited to
be able to share that experience with all of you.
I'm looking forward to next year and of course, excepting donations
immediately. (Send to
CCC Treasurer)
Thanks all for being there!
McCool
