8/24-25/02 Carroll Work Weekend

Thanks to John Bowles, Bill Gee, Mike Hartley, Ron Lather, Ken Long, Tom Lounsbury, Dave McCool, Eddie Simmons, Carl Wagner and others for helping last weekend.  (I was not at the site and am sure I do not have a complete list.) 

Eddie, Tom, Mike and Carl worked on the Access policy and trip leader applications on Sunday. 

The in cave crew continued knocking down the debris cone and removed lots of trash form an old camp near the T-Junction. 

A special thanks to Dave McCool for hauling the explosive magazines back to Rolla.

The next work weekend will be Sept. 7-8.  We will chip the shaft walls to get a uniform diameter and start work on mounting a ladder below thunder falls.

Reminder:  The CCC is sponsoring an NCRC Cave Rescue Seminar Sept. 14-15.  Information and a registration form are available at www.carrollcave.org.  A strong caver turn out is important to the CCC.
