Thanks:
The CCC thanks Greg Buckley for purchasing and donating the electrical hardware.
He and Chris did a professional installation job.
We thank Gerry Gattenby for constructing a tool to be used in the 9" hole
when blasting. Gerry also cut and welded the supports for the tripod.
Greg, Bill Pfantz, and I thank Kerry for dinner Saturday.
If it were not for Bill Pfantz the roof would not be on the silo. Thanks
Bill.
Special thanks go to Danny Schupbach for bring out his compressor and other
equipment for us to use on Saturday. Danny also purchased drill bits and
arranged for the use of a pneumatic drill borrowed from Hertz. Danny is
having other pneumatic drills serviced for us to use in the future.
Kerry Rowland is hopeful that he will have our compressor running by next
weekend.
Blasting Next Sunday, 10/14/01
Paul Worsey will provide the explosives and expertise to help us test the
blasting method we hope to use to open the 9" hole to 30".
If you wish to help next Sunday with the blasting and other work at the
T-Junction call or email me (913 - 897 - 4258). Please do not show up
unannounced.
